you know, New York was a whole lot of trouble. but I'm glad I did it. I feel like I've gained something -- and like I don't even know all of what I've gained yet, but I will over time. and I like that there a people up there giving a darn about me now.

I got the job in Baltimore! I am accepting it! I am psyched to be working in my field, even during a recession, within six months of graduation, and in the city in which I want to live!

I will be home on the 23rd and I can't wait to see you all!

heard about the free Philharmonic Orchestra concert in Central Park just before leaving work and thought, hey, why not?  was too absorbed in reading to pay attention to the trains and got on the express train instead of the local; had to backtrack forty streets to the proper station.  couldn't find a seat on the grass; sat on the fence instead.  ( Read more... )
